What is your superpower?

I am an idea guy, through and through. I can think my way out of most (all?) problems, and my superpower is thought partnership around the solution.

Where were you born and raised?

Born: Hartford, CT. Raised: South Brunswick, NJ

What was your first job?

My first real career was as a congregational rabbi. However, my first job was probably working in a local CPA office in high school.

What city are you currently based in and why do you love it?

St. Louis Park. It is a city that cares about its residents, is continuously growing in a good way, and is progressive in the way it addresses challenges.

How do you typically introduce yourself to new people?

I suppose it depends on the context...

What’s one thing you wish more people knew about you?

I really have always had a drive to be a renaissance man—and that's what informs everything I do.

What’s one character trait that makes every leader better?

Humility—and it is a constant struggle.

What do you think is the best part of being on the C9 Team?

The sense of hyper-focused, community-based altruism.

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of your professional life?

Beer league ice hockey, good food, fitness.

Who is one of your mentors and why?

My father Kerry Olitzky. He very much is that renaissance man that I strive to be. He has always been there—and is an incredible role model.
