What is your superpower?
I am positive and supportive with everyone and in everything that I do.
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Michigan. Spent most of my life growing up in Minnesota. We moved around the Midwest: Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska, and then moved back to Minnesota.
What was your first job?
My first paying job was as a caddy at Minikahda Country Club. My first real job was at Cargill as a bench chemist.
What city are you currently based in and why do you love it?
Eden Prairie. I love it for all of the parks, trails, and easy access to lakes. It is a clean city with a lot to offer and very easy access to Minneapolis and St. Paul.
How do you typically introduce yourself to new people?
Hi, I'm Jack Bandy, and I am a certified life coach and consultant focusing on leadership development. When first meeting someone, I tend to ask lots of questions to find out what's important to them—what brings them joy and inspiration.
What’s one thing you wish more people knew about you?
I’m a certified coach who loves helping people discover what energizes them and brings them joy.
What’s one character trait that makes every leader better?
The ability to truly listen to people and to remain curious.
What do you think is the best part of being on the C9 Team?
The diversity of people that I get to interact with.
What interests and hobbies do you have outside of your professional life?
Time with my granddaughter, paddleboarding, playing bridge, reading, working out, jigsaw puzzles, and baking.
Who is one of your mentors and why?
I do not have one mentor. I do have a personal board of directors that I reach out to depending on what type of support, perspective, or challenge I am looking for.
