Member Kristin Nordling of Lakeside HR Group announced their next Lakeside Chat webinar “Female Founder Stories” will be held on Tuesday, March 19th from 9 to 10 AM and will feature both Kristin and C9 Member + Community Supporter Kelly Pedersen from CAISSA Wealth Strategies as panelists. Member Mark Gasner of Ellingson & Ellingson announced that they welcomed Member Lana Nelson as their new VP of Operations and Client Services. Her positive impact is already evident, diving right in during peak tax season. Congratulations to all!
Member Rob Kress announced that Waypost Advisors is celebrating its four-year anniversary. Congrats on that milestone!
Rob Kress also announced that they are hiring an admin for up to 20 hours per week. Duties include calendar management, industry research, assisting with social media/marketing, document management, and other general admin tasks. Virtual role but prefer someone local. Member Tracy Greer of Permanent Choice Laser Hair Removal Clinics announced that they will be opening their 9th Minnesota location on March 15th and will be adding two additional providers to their team of exceptional and experienced technicians. We love hearing about growing C9 Member businesses!
After the success of her first retreat, Member Brittney Hegg of B. Strong Nutrition announced that Round 2 of her Sauna and Wellness Retreat will be on Saturday, April 6th on Prior Lake. Community Supporter BeyonDesign is proud to share a recent acoustic installation at fellow Community Supporter Fluid Interiors’ newly built-out conference room. April C9 Well Event - Mindfulness 101: An Introduction to Meditation
Join us for our next C9 Well Series Event, Mindfulness 101: An Introduction to Meditation on Tuesday, April 9 at Alchemy 365 in Northeast Minneapolis!
This C9 Members-only workshop and discussion on meditation and mindfulness practices for high performers will feature the physiological, mental, emotional, and social benefits of traditional seated mindfulness mediation.
Learn easy and effective ways to develop concentration and deep relaxation to improve your personal and professional life. We’ll be exploring Deep Listening—a practice of meditation that can be explored even in the noisiest of settings.

About the Instructor: Jaina Portwood, E-RYT 500, director and founder of Beloved Retreats, has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1999, is a professor at Minneapolis College, and is the director of the nonprofit Peace in Practice. She also leads international yoga retreats about 4 times a year all over the globe.

February C9 Well Event Recap
Last month, we launched a new Coalition9 holistic wellness event series: C9 Well.
Our first session was on Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine that means the "science of life." It's a holistic healing system that better aligns us with the natural world around us.
Attendees participated in an interactive lecture and were guided through gentle movement and breathwork. Thank you to everyone who could join us and our Event Partners + Supporter:

March SPARK Event Recap
Thank you to everyone who came out to Forgotten Star Brewing on Tuesday, March 5th for our Happy Hour Pop-In and Bags Tournament!
Due to this odd winter we've been having here in MN, we went from Curling to Bocce Ball to Bags for the tournament, and our C9 Members just rolled with it. Everyone was truly there to just have some fun and strengthen relationships, whatever game we ended up playing. We absolutely love that about our Members.
Congratulations to the Bags Tournament champs, The Exceptionals: Mike Hoagland, Nathan Pesch, Susan Haugen, and Mike Bauer!
We had over 70 people at the event, and the place was buzzing with the energy of friends uniting and the spark of new connections.
Forgotten Star Brewing was a great host, and they had something for everybody: a tasty variety of beers, hard seltzers, NA brews, pop, kombucha... Many thanks to C9 Member and President + Co-Founder of Forgotten Star Brewing Andy Risvold, as well as the rest of the staff, for welcoming the C9 Community into your space.
