Hi Coalition9 Members + Friends!
I can’t believe it’s already June! I love this time of year—spending time outside on my hobby farm and up North at the cabin just makes me so happy. I try to seize every opportunity I can to connect with nature.
After our SPARK Breakfast Pop-In this month on the 25th, we’ll be taking advantage of the summer months by bringing our events outdoors. Our July C9 Well event is a Walk + Talk through the Cathedral Hill area in St. Paul (the email invite is coming this week, so watch your inbox). In August, we’ll be exploring Grounding + Forest Bathing during the C9 Well event and enjoying some baseball at our C9 Summer Social at CHS Field. So many opportunities to meet up with C9 friends and build relationships with the Members you don’t know yet!
Don’t forget to register for the C9 SPARK Breakfast Pop-In—for those of you wishing for more social time at events, this will be your jam. It’s 100% relationship building! If you're curious about the C9 experience and want to get a feel for who we are, shoot me an email, and we can welcome you to this event as our guest.
As much as my head is in summer mode, we are currently planning ahead for fall. We’re building out two new groups and would love to welcome some more good people to our growing C9 Community! Reach out if you’re interested in joining our tribe.

Further Together Professional Development Series
Coalition9 Founder + CVO Aaron Eggert will be speaking at the first Viking Lakes Further Together Professional Development Series at the Vikings Museum in Eagan on Wednesday, June 19th from 8 to 9:30 AM.
In his talk, “Changing Business Nine Leaders at a Time: How Vulnerability, Authenticity, and Transparency Fuel Impactful Relationships,” Aaron will discuss why surrounding yourself with like-minded leaders is the key to growth both personally and professionally. No registration necessary.
July C9 Well Event - Walk + Talk
Come together with other C9ers to enjoy a summer morning appreciating the views of the Cathedral Hill area in St. Paul—all while building some new relationships.
We'll meet at Nina's Coffee Cafe for a morning beverage, then break off into small groups for some walking, talking, and making new friends. Take a self-guided tour of this beautiful area admiring the history, nature, and architecture as you enjoy the benefits of some light physical exercise.
Walking and talking can have many benefits, including improving mental health, boosting creativity, and improving digestion.

Save the Date! August SPARK Event - C9 Summer Social at CHS Field
Back by popular demand—the C9 Community is going to a St. Paul Saints game for our 2024 C9 Summer Social!
We have reserved the Treasure Island Terrace at CHS Field, which is a private space dedicated to the C9 Community for enjoying hosted food + beverages, baseball, and building relationships with other C9ers and guests.
The Saints are scheduled to play the Scranton Wilkes Barre RailRiders on the day of our event. The game starts at 7:07 PM, but join us starting at 5:30 PM for a meal and good company. This will be a C9 Member + 1 guest event.

May C9 SPARK Event Recap
Thank you to everyone who made it to our C9 SPARK event, From Vision to Reality: An Exploration of Business Operating Systems, at the Abyssinia Cultural Center last month!
The energy and engagement levels were off the charts and so inspiring. Our C9 Members’ commitment to building relationships and supporting each other through their generosity and wisdom was on full display. We’re so grateful to the C9 Community for making everyone who was not a Member feel welcome and valued as well. All ships rise!
Our stacked panel of experts, Heide Olson, Nathan Young, Scott Gullickson, and Chris Heim, along with moderator Brian Adamek, delivered valuable insights on business operating systems, how they have used them in their own businesses, and what to consider when choosing a framework and implementer. Here are some highlights from the discussion:
Business Operating Systems:
Frameworks of processes, tools, and values to help businesses achieve their goals and improve efficiency
Agreements you have with your team describing how you work together
Can take your business to the next level of growth if you’ve reached a plateau
Should meet you where you’re at in your business and be flexible
80% of business operating systems are basically the same, but it’s important to hire an experienced implementer vs. reading the books and doing it yourself because:
Fast is better than free
They help facilitate hard discussions and attack issues, not people
Having an unbiased outsider’s perspective allows you to fully participate in the process, promotes true team bonding when everyone is sitting as equals, and holds people accountable

May C9 Well Event Recap
Another C9 Well Series event is in the books! Brittney Hegg from B.Strong Nutrition led an excellent workshop on Nutrition for High Performers in May. We learned a lot and discussed smart nutrition choices to help us perform at our very best. Brittney provided actionable info and resources that we can start using right away.
Some highlights from the event:

Calorie counting shouldn't be your main focus
Ways to take your nutrition game to the next level
