Our May SPARK Series Event, From Vision to Reality: An Exploration of Business Operating Systems, is one week away, and we have over 150 people registered! The excitement over this event has been growing and growing, and I can’t wait to see it all come together. June C9 Well Event - Active Meditation: Unblock Creativity + Unlock Mental Clarity

Join us for our next C9 Well Series Event, Active Meditation: Unblock Creativity + Unlock Mental Clarity, on Tuesday, June 11 at Alchemy 365 in Northeast Minneapolis!

This C9 Members-only workshop will start with a brief intro about the specific guided meditation breathwork technique we’ll do together. The guided breathwork practice is done lying down while listening to a playlist; the facilitator will guide you through the journey with prompts, hands-on body support, essential oils (if not sensitive to scents), and other healing tools.

Through a three-part rhythmic breath pattern, the increase of oxygen helps bypass the thinking brain and invites in the space to connect more deeply to your own intuition and wisdom, unblock your creativity, and support you in releasing what’s no longer serving you. Through the breath, you can process emotions, past trauma, and current roadblocks to help you move through life’s transitions with more ease, alignment, clarity, and groundedness.

About the Instructor: Helen Buron is a breathwork facilitator, energy healing practitioner, craniosacral therapist, and an artist. She leads group workshops, retreats, and one-on-one sessions through her business Light Centered Healing and as a practitioner at Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts.

April C9 Well Event Recap

Have you tried meditating, but thoughts keep invading your mind? A lot of people think that means they aren't doing it correctly. But the continual process of letting thoughts and emotions that enter your mind fall away while bringing your concentration back to your breathing and the present IS the correct process. You get better with practice, and you only need to meditate for 5 minutes a day to see results.

Those are just a couple important takeaways from April’s C9 Well workshop, Mindfulness 101: An Introduction to Meditation, led by Jaina Portwood, E-RYT 500.

Jaina shared an overview of the physiological, mental, emotional, and social benefits of traditional seated mindfulness meditation. Then she guided the group through a series of meditative breathwork practices, including: Deep Listening, The 5-4-3-2-1 Technique, Diaphragmatic Breathing, Five-Finger Breathing, Box Breathing, Alternate Nostril Breathing, and Bumblebee Breath.

It was an insightful journey!
