Welcome to Fall, Coalition9 Members + Friends!

Fall is here, and we’re celebrating the season at our C9 Community Appreciation Event on Saturday, Oct. 19 at LuceLine Orchard! This much-loved Minnesota orchard has something for everyone. It’s just a blast, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring C9 to such a perfect autumn destination. This event is our way of expressing our gratitude to all our incredible Members, facilitators, Community Supporters, Event Partners + Supporters who help our Community thrive. No sponsors for this one—it’s our gift to the C9 Community. I can’t wait to see you there!

Member James Olsen from Seiler Law was the production attorney for the film Boundary Waters, which will be debuting at the Twin Cities Film Festival on Friday, October 18th at 5 PM. It was filmed in Ely, Minnesota and features performances by Bill Heck, Allison Miller, Chris Jackson, and Carol Kane among others. Learn more and get tickets
Member Rebecca Rizzio from Luminous Talent announced that her documentary film, 24 Days Without You, will be premiering at the Twin Cities Film Fest on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Learn more and get tickets
The second annual Fractional Conference will be held October 21-22, 2024 at Finnovation Lab in Minneapolis. This event is for fractionals, business coaches and advisors, and people who sell to and through solopreneurs. Member Robin Edgar from Wealth Progression Group announced that their next “Wealth and Wisdom: Unlocking Financial Confidence” workshops will be held on Wednesday, October 23 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM and Thursday, November 7 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at their St. Louis Park location. Member Kristin Nordling from Lakeside HR Group is excited to invite you to “What’s In Your Closet?” an in-person event at their Lakeside Office in Bloomington on Tuesday, October 29 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Are you looking to reduce clutter and make the most of the wardrobe you already have? This empowering event is designed for professional women who want to bring more simplicity and clarity to their lives and is led by two experts, Nancy Dilts and Renee Brown. Member Kristin Nordling also announced that Lakeside HR Group’s “Morning Momentum,” a leadership breakfast at the Edina Country Club, will be held Thursday, November 7 from 7:30 to 9:30 AM. This event provides a unique opportunity for business owners, CEOs, and Presidents to connect, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights. Attendance capped at 20. Member Jake Irey announced that Authentic is hosting a “Two or More Volunteer Event” at Free Bikes 4 Kidz (11210 Wayzata Boulevard, Minnetonka, MN 55305) on Thursday, November 7 from 2 to 5 PM. They will be cleaning, prepping, and repairing bikes for kids. If you or anyone from your organization would like to serve alongside them, register here.
The Joy Mobile, a service of Member Mark Ostrom's Joy Collaborative, was a big success at this year’s MN State Fair and was invited back in 2025! They greeted +2,000 individuals with the majority seeing significant reductions in dysregulation and stress in 5 minutes or less. St. Paul Public Schools and the RightTrack program are looking to place high school students in internship positions in the spring. They would love to set up a time this fall to come talk to whoever is interested.
